Myoptik and The Horn are both veterans of the sections of the UK underground that prioritize big, noisy fun, and have no interest in chin-stroking. On this album, which contains both solo tracks and remixes, it’s all about delighting in crunches, burbles, gurgles, blurts, and parps. The rhythms span straight techno, loose and loping electro, Aphex Twin style “braindance” and more, never once getting boring or tired, always radiating an endless sense of mischievous joy."

Igloo Magazine describe the music this way "The Horn's contributions run the gamut for upbeat, 8-bit braindance rhythms, busted up rave-era acid breaks and all kinds of 90s era broken techno shapes. Myoptik takes on similar hues from his counterpart, a mixture of experimental electronic mayhem somehow gelling together while hundreds of blips'n'bleeps, and Aphex-like sparks ricochet from all sides..."

Bananasplitz sees 2 techno thoroughbred nags knacker themselves up in the yard.
Neither of these old colts cower at the fence - both take a good whipping and manage far more than a cosy canter.
This is techno gone wrong in the best possible ways. Hold onto your saddle, sore-ass - this is likely to jolt!

This is as it should be, and too often isn’t.
This is the future-past covered in sweet neck tar, no need for extra sugar.
This is enveloping madness that will allow you to feel sultry, even under ice!
This is reet-nice bad ass-pounding beauty for a Devonshire night in any season.
